An expert on Congress and American politics he is the coauthor of several New York Times bestsellers, including It’s Even Worse Than It Looks: How the American Constitutional System Collided with the New Politics of Extremism. He was named one of America’s Top 100 Global Thinkers in 2012 by Foreign Policy Magazine, and one of the 250 most influential people in policy in Washington by Washingtonian Magazine.
